The Little Free Libraries have arrived!

littlefreelibraryCan't make it to the Library as often as you like? No Problem. The Library is coming to you! Through many efforts this fall, and going forward, we at the Library will be making more efforts to bring the Library out into the community. The Belmont Public Library (through the generosity of our Friends of the Library Group) is coming out into Belmont to bring the books to you.

Beginning this week free books are available in a Little Free Library located on the walkway directly in front of Town Hall, along a walkway that leads down to Concord Avenue.

Can't find a book in our catalog?

We give you access to a lot of materials through our Minuteman Catalog, but admittedly, not everything. Here are the steps you should take if you are having trouble finding an item through Minuteman.

1. Check our Commonwealth Catalog (you will need your library card and PIN numbers) which searches all of Massachusetts.

2. Fill out our online interlibrary loan form with as much information as you can.

Then we'll be in touch! If you have any questions, please call Mary at (617) 993-2896.
